Lady Bulldog Track Team begins season at Hamilton County Invite

*UPDATE – as of 6:46 Tuesday morning, the full results have been posted and CWC finished in 2nd place.*

The CWC Girls track team traveled to Hamilton County on Monday to begin their season, and as on 10:30 PM on Monday, the Lady Bulldogs finished in 3rd Place. According to athletic.net, Hamilton County has not yet posted the complete results.

In the 100 Meter Dash, Akilah Large finished in 7th place and Jaylza Duckworth finished in 11th place.

In the 400 Meter Race, Alyson Lamont finished in 5th place and Callie Accord finished in 6th.

In the 800 Meter Race, Makyla Seibers finished in 8th place.

In the 1600 Meter Race, Ally Pollard finished in 5th place.

In the 4×1 Relay, Carmi’s team of Jaylza Duckworth, Andi Garner, Alyson Lamont and Akilah Large finished in 2nd place. 

In the 4×2 Relay, Carmi’s team of Duckworth, Garner, Lamont and Ellie King finished in 1st place.

In the 4×4 Relay, Carmi’s team of Garner, Lamont, King and Ally Pollard finished in 3rd.

Carmi finished in 2nd place in the 4×8 Relay, ran by Pollard, Callie Accord, Makyla Seibers and Gabbie Conover. 

In the high jump, Caroline Simmons finished 2nd and Addie Elliot finished 5th.

The Lady Bulldogs will travel to West Frankfort on Thursday.
