The philanthropic young ladies of Kids Inc. Club have planned their next fundraiser. They will be hosting a “Holiday Home Tour” on Saturday, December 5th from 10 am – 3 pm. Guests are invited to visit 7 of Carmi’s finest homes decorated in their seasonal splendor. This self-guided tour will begin at the home of Cherie Barbre, 306 S. Third Street, where each guest can purchase a ticket for the tour. This is the only home that will be selling tickets so please plan to start your visits there. One may visit homes in any order after that initial stop.
The homes included on the tour are The Social House at 311 W. Main Street; the former Social House and current residence of David & Phebe Port located at 500 W. Main Street; the newly constructed home of Justin & Kate Simmons, 1076 County Road 600 E, along with the beautiful homes of Jamie & Michelle Burzynski, 1457 County Road 800 East; Whitney Barbre, 749 County Road 1450 North; and Kent & Shannon Roser located in Colony West. Maps and a listing of these addresses will be provided on the day of tour for your convenience.
Tickets will be available for $10 each and all money raised by the group will be used to purchase Christmas gifts for kids in the community through First Bank’s Giving Tree program and the P.A.W.S. for a Bulldog Tree. We hope that you will come out and support these young ladies as they hope to make the holiday season brighter for other children in our community.
