Car Show Missing This Year
The Carmi Chamber of Commerce delivered a giant fireworks show this year, but there was one thing missing from this year’s celebration; and that was the Carmi Lion’s annual car show.
But, fans of the giant show will have to wait until September for the 14th annual car, truck, motorcycle and tractor show. It will be held Saturday, September 11 “under the shade trees” at the White County Fairgrounds, here in Carmi.
Promoters of the annual event said the day will include everything spectators and those entering vehicles expect. That includes live music, food and drink and lots of door prizes. There will also be vendors on site. Vendors needing booth space will be required to pay $25.
Registration will run from 8 until noon that Saturday, with an entry fee of $15 per vehicle.
