A Carmi woman is free on bond following her arrest on Illinois Street Monday morning. Carmi PD say they pulled over 49 year old Tracy Johnston of 5th Street and eventually arrested her for driving without a valid license and also unlawful display of a license plate that wasn’t authorized for the vehicle. Her bond was set at $250. Johnston paid it plus booking fee and was released pending a court date.
