The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball Team now knows their path to a potential second consecutive regional championship. It all will begin in Mt. Carmel on October 25th.
The Lady Bulldogs will be the 4 seed in the southern bracket of the Pinckneyville Sectional, which places them in the Mt. Carmel Regional.
CWC will play the winner of 5th seeded Mt. Carmel and 10th seeded Harrisburg on Tuesday, October 25th. If the Lady Bulldogs win that match, they will then play the winner of top seeded Hamilton County vs the winner of 6 seeded Benton and 9 seeded Eldorado for the regional championship on Thursday, October 27th.
“I was happy with our seeding,” said CWC head coach Chris Lucas. “We have beaten the two teams that we would have to beat to win the regional. However, they are both very good teams and it would take a tremendous effort on our girls’ part to win it.”
Last season, the Lady Bulldogs won their first regional title in 44 years.
