An officer on patrol with the Carmi Police Department spotted a local woman who had a warrant out for her arrest, in front of Fifth Street Market Thursday morning. 27 year old Shelby J Holloman, of 503 Maple Street in Carmi, was wanted on a Failure to Appear warrant for Resisting a Police Officer. Holloman then attempted to elude officers on foot. Officers boxed her in and eventually arrested her behind the Fifth Street Market without incident.
Bond was set at $500.
