During the closed session at Monday night’s Carmi-White County School Board meeting, the board accepted a handful of new hires, along with reassignments, resignations and one retirement.
The retirement was for Mark Renshaw as the Brownsville Attendance Center Custodian.
Resignations consisted of: Eric Dixon as the 8th grade Boys’ Basketball coach, Trey Mason as the Junior High Student Council sponsor, Jennifer O’Daniel as the Junior High School Special Education Teacher, Cherie Westfall as the High School Individual Aide, Kaylea Stubblefield for the High School Head Softball coach, and Madison Strong as the Special Education Bus Aide.
Reassignment included: Kim Murphy to the Junior High Classroom Aide, Kayla Messamore as the Junior High School Special Education Classroom Aide, Jennifer Foote to Brownsville Attendance Center as a Special Education Individual Aide, Amanda Hunsinger to Junior/Senior High School Classroom Aide, and Crystal Bennett to the High School as an Individual Aide.
Jade Brooks was hired as the Special Education Individual Aide at Brownsville Attendance Center, Cassandra Howard as a Special Education Individual Aide at Lincoln Attendance Center, Gracey Stephens as an Individual Aide at Jefferson Attendance Center, Kendall Seacrist as the District School Nurse, Michelle Tuley as a High School Head Cook, Carla Bridges as a Junior High Special Education Teacher, Mike Zaranti as the Junior High Head Softball coach, and Marcus Lynn as the 6th grade Boys’ Basketball coach.
Volunteers that were hired are: Jace Carter, Cole Carter, Tyler Hoskins, and Mike Egbert as volunteer high school football coaches. Kate Simmons as a volunteer volleyball coach.
