Carmi’s Hannah Lueke and Jasmine Smith placed third at Tennis Sectionals Saturday in Herrin. This qualifies them for the State Tournament. Due to COVID-19, the State Tournament in Chicago will not be played, so this accomplishment will be their last hardware they bring home to Carmi-White County High School for Coach Chris Courty’s Tennis Program. The seniors ended their career on a winning note by defeating Herrin to take third.
