34 year old Nina L. Hankins of Carmi was arrested on a White County Warrant for Theft of Currency Saturday night. White County Deputy Sheriff Scott Cantrell observed Hankins’ vehicle in the Walmart Parking lot and advised her of the warrant. Hankins had three small children in the vehicle with her, so he had Hankins follow him to the Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, Hankins contacted Jonathan Campbell, the father of the children to come and take control of the children. After Campbell arrived, Hankins was turned over to the White County Jail Officers to be processed for the warrant. She is currently lodged in the White County Jail on $1500 bond.
