The Hamilton County Board will meet Thursday at 6:00 pm in the Second Floor Courtroom of Hamilton County Courthouse. Included will be a special Liquor Commission Meeting during which they will discuss and possibly approve a request for a class “C” Liquor license for Terry Hunt of Hunt’s Hardware and Grocery, accept/approve the Western Surety Company Bond issued to Hunt’s Hardware and Grocery in the amount of $5,000, and accept a check in the amount of $874.98 for the 6 month term expiring May 30th, 2020 and issue Certificate #308.
During the Regular Meeting the Board will review/discuss/approve the County Board’s membership in the Illinois State Association of Counties, review and possibly approve a request for a solar farm construction permit for Solar Energy Farm Installation in Unincorporated Hamilton County, review/approve authority and budget allocations for additional services required for internal operation of the office of State’s attorney, review and approve the claims list and late claims list, review and approve several resolutions for materials and aid for the Highway Department, and accept several checks and payment requests. The board will also hear reports from Clark Griffith with the Hamilton County Health Department, Sheriff Lakin with the Sheriff’s Department Report, Nathan Taylor EMA Director, Dorothy Smith of the ETSB Board, Monica Tucker with the Illinois South Tourism Board Report, and a representative from Bellwether, LLC with the Administrative Services Report.
