Hamilton Co. Health Dept. Announces COVID-19 Vaccination Clinics for McLeansboro, Dahlgren, and Broughton on 03/17/21

In an effort to reach individuals in the local communities where they reside, the Hamilton County Health Department will be holding three remote COVID vaccination clinics for all individuals in Phases 1a & 1b and Phase 1b Part 2 on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the following locations:

· 9:00 am – 11:00 am at the McLeansboro Fire Department on 108 S. Marshall

· 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at the Dahlgren Fire Department on 109 Fourth Street

· 3:00 pm – 4:30 pm at the Broughton Community Center on 407 S. 2nd Street

See pages 16 & 17 of the Illinois Department of Public Health COVID-19 Vaccination Plan at Illinois COVID-19 Vaccination Plan for a detailed list of persons who qualify for being in Phase 1b and Phase 1b Part 2. Please note you DO NOT have to be 65 years of age, as long as you qualify under one of the current phases.

Vaccinations will be administered first come, first serve. Please bring a work ID and/or driver’s license with you to verify eligibility and insurance cards if applicable.

As the clinics will be held indoors, we ask that everyone please come wearing a face mask and maintain social distancing.

To save time at the clinic, go to www.hchdil.com to download and fill out the “COVID-19 Vaccine Consent Form – Pfizer & Moderna” located towards the bottom of our home page or pick the form up at our office before the day of the clinic.

Phase 1b Part 2 includes individuals with high-risk medical conditions that increase the risk for severe COVID-19:

· Obesity

· Diabetes

· Pulmonary Diseases

· Smoking

· Heart Conditions

· Chronic Kidney Disease

· Cancer

· Solid Organ Transplant

· Sickle Cell Disease

· Pregnancy

· Persons with Disability
