Grogan Arrested on FTA Warrant Thursday

A Carmi man is behind bars following his arrest around a quarter after 4pm Thursday.  Carmi officers took 44 year old Robert Grogan of Cora Street into custody on a Failure to Appear warrant at the corner of Sycamore and 6^th Street.  The original charges date back to 2020 when Grogan was originally accused of Possession of Meth and also Possession of a Controlled Substance.  The meth charge was dismissed in a plea deal and Grogan was given probation, community service, and a stayed jail sentence.
