On Tuesday April 18th Deputy Michael Brown while on patrol in Crossville observed a 2008 Blue Dodge pickup truck traveling on Winkler Street fail to signal while making a turn. Brown with the assistance of another officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver who identified himself as 25 year old Chance Grein. After advising Grein of the reason for the stop, Brown asked to see his license and insurance. Grein informed the Deputy that he didn’t have his identification. After running his name and birth date through dispatch it was discovered that Grein was driving on a revoked license.
Grein was taken into custody and transported to the White County Jail where he was also issued citations for Driving While License Revoked and Failure to Signal When Required.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by Don’s Bumper to Bumper.
Grein paid $250 bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in White County Court on May 8th at 9:00 AM.
