Gallatin County board members will gather Thursday evening for their monthly summit. County Clerk Deanna Bryant has released the agenda. On it, County Engineer Justin Hastie is expected to discuss County Highway issues. States Attorney Doug Dyhrkopp is also going to be providing an update on electrical/heating and air/windows at the courthouse. In new business, the group is expected to tackle an Ambulance Bid Packet as well as a Housing Authority Board appointment. The board will hear more about the courthouse dumpster and potentially amend the budget due to that agenda item. County Treasurer David Barker will make an ARPA (American Rescue Plan) request for a currency counter. We also expect to learn more about the Shawneetown Port Project.
