A Franklin County couple are expected to be ok after they were involved in a traffic crash Sunday afternoon in Saline County. State Police say Larry and Sheila Davis of Benton were southbound on Route 34, north of McFarland Road when Larry Davis hit a tree which had fallen across both lanes of traffic due to weather. Sheila was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non life threatening injuries. Crews worked for the next 2 hours to clean up debris from the accident and clear the actual tree from the roadway.
