Carmi Police received four complaints of criminal damage to property on Sunday, all within a two hour period.
Just after 10:30 AM, Jerry Williams of 7th Street, signed a complaint for a tire on his 2003 Dodge Dakota being slashed. Then, about a quarter after 11 AM, Melvin Lewis of 9th Street, signed a complaint for damage to a window and garage door at his residence. About 20 minutes later, Weston Lowery of Herbert Avenue, signed a complaint after he discovered all four tires on his 2000 Jeep Cherokee had been slashed, and just before 12:30 PM, Keith Carter, also of Herbert Avenue, signed a complaint in regards to a tire on his 2003 Toyota also being slashed.
