Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors an employee each month who has been nominated by their peers for providing extraordinary patient care and customer services within and outside of the Hospital.
Emily Rush RN, who works as a Registered Nurse in the FMH Surgical Services Department, was selected as the July 2020 Employee of the Month. Emily has been with Fairfield Memorial Hospital since December of 2007. Emily is always willing to jump in and help where needed even if it’s not her assignment for the day. She is wonderful with patients and she is instilled with excellent nursing skills.
“Emily exceeds her role in the Surgical Services Department by being an extremely hard worker and being conscientious in the work she performs. Emily is attentive and great with the care she shows her patients.” commented Hazel Vest RN, BSN, CNOR, Surgical Services Director.
“There are a number of reasons why Emily is deserving of the Employee of the Month Award, but the main one is her willingness to go above and beyond to help those in need.
