Each month, Fairfield Memorial Hospital honors an employee who has exemplified outstanding customer service internally and externally.
In August, Kim Hosick, Office Manager, who works in the FMH Home Health Department, was named Employee of the Month. She has been at Fairfield Memorial Hospital for 21 years. Kim demonstrates exceptional customer service skills when communicating with patients and families. She is very prompt to communicate any problems or changes that she has been made aware of so the clinical team can assess the situation. As a team player with a positive attitude she will be leading the home health staff through the upcoming IDC-10 conversion that will begin in October. This is no simple task to take on, but she has a wealth of knowledge to share with her coworkers, which allow the transition to be smooth and will result in positive outcomes.
“Kim is very dedicated to Fairfield Memorial Hospital and committed to providing excellent customer service. She is an extremely valuable asset to our Home Health team and I feel blessed to work with her daily and have her as part of my team,” stated Susan McKnight, RN, COS-C, FMH Home Health Director.
