FMH MODIFYING EMERGENCY ROOM VISITORS POLICY EFFECTIVE MONDAY, APRIL 12TH, 2021

Effective Monday, Fairfield Memorial Hospital will be modifying its Emergency Room visitation policy to allow Emergency Department patients to have one person with them who must remain in the patient’s room at all times or wait in their car until the patient is discharged. Pediatric patients will be allowed to have up to two parents/guardians with them.

With this change, officials at Fairfield Memorial Hospital would like to remind patients and visitors that due to current State and Federal regulations congregation in our Emergency Department is still not permitted due to space constraints.

All social distancing requirements continue to remain in effect and everyone is required to go thru the screening stations at either the Hospital or the Clinics entrances and wear a mask at all times. This change in our visitation policy is contingent upon the number of positive COVID cases in our area staying low.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact Fairfield Memorial Hospital at 618-842-2611. Fairfield Memorial Hospital staff would like to thank the public for all of their understanding and support during this time of change for everyone.
