The Carmi-White County Boys Track team finished in 4th Place at the Webber Sectional in Bluford on Wednesday. Numerous Bulldogs medaled in their events, and 5 Bulldogs finished in the Top 2 and qualified for the IHSA State Meet next week.
The following Bulldogs medaled in their events:
Jayde Albright – 6th place in the 400 Meter Dash.
Kale Wiggins – 4th place in the 110 Meter Hurdles.
Beck Huff – 5th place in the 200 Meter Dash.
Gavin Peyton – 4th place in Shot Put.
Austin Owen – 6th place in Shot Put.
Isaac King, Bryce Conncer, Draxtyn Aud, Beck Huff – 3rd Place in the 4×1 Relay.
Isaac King, Kale Wiggins, Draxtyn Aud, Beck Huff – 3rd Place in the 4×2 Relay.
The following Bulldogs qualified for State by finishing in 1st or 2nd Place in their events:
Tanner Spence – 1st place in the 1 Mile Run.
Nelson Rider – 2nd place in Discus Throw.
Bryce Conner – 2nd place in the 400 Meter Dash.
Trey Dixon, Tanner Spence, Isaac King & Bryce Conner – 2nd Place in the 4×4 Relay.
