Another year, another First Bank Three for Three, another donation to Carmi White County Schools. After historic performances by both the Varsity Boys and Girls Bulldogs Basketball squads, Amanda Sallee-Nelson and Bev Vaught presented a check for $975 to Carmi White County schools Wednesday. The Lady Bulldogs poured in 150 three pointers this season while the boys drained 175. In a partnership with WRUL, First Bank pledged to match $3 for every “trey” the boys and girls teams made this season.
Over the past two seasons, First Bank has donated $1,800 to the Unit 5 school system through the points match program. Relationship Banking Officer Amanda Nelson says, “This is one of the many reasons I love my job. Being able to give back to the community is something that I am passionate about, and First Bank has always shared that same passion. We are proud of our athletes and their accomplishments, and this is just a small way for us to acknowledge that.” Learn more at http://www.myfirst.bank.
