Car fire
Carmi firefighters were called to a car fire Tuesday morning. Fire Chief Daniel Ballard says the vehicle, a 1974 Pontiac Grandville was fully engulfed by the time crews arrived. The vehicle was located at 1403 County Road 900 North. The car belonged to Shawn Price of Omaha. He was unharmed. Crews extinguished the flames and cleared the scene just before 11:30am.
