Fight Breaks Out Shortly After Vehicle Drives into House on Burrell Monday Evening

Less than an hour after a vehicle drove into a house on Burrell Street Monday night, a domestic dispute broke out on the same street resulting in the arrest of 42-year-old Charles Scott.  Carmi Police placed the man under arrest on charges of Aggravated Domestic Battery, a Class 2 Felony; the victim a 48-year-old female.  Scott was allegedly strangling the woman and the incident was witnessed by two other women.  Scott is being held behind bars at the White County Jail.
