A Fairfield resident is still in custody after being arrested and booked in the White County Jail. At approximately 5:23 pm, on Saturday, September 25th, Officer Donna Huber, with the Carmi Police Department, responded to a call, that Wal-Mart had a shoplifter detained. 32 year old Allison Altizer of 116 Union Street in Fairfield was held until the officer arrived. Officer Huber ran Allison Altizer for warrants through WCSO and was informed that Altizer had an active warrant from Wayne County. Altizer was then transported to the White County Jail for theft and warrant.
She is being held on $2600 cash bond.
