A Fairfield man is out on bond after turning himself in Tuesday morning. 36-year-old Nickolas Ewing turned himself in at the Carmi Police Department just before 11:30am. He was wanted on a warrant that dates back to charges he picked up in August of 2022 for Driving on a Suspended License and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis by a Driver in a Motor Vehicle. Ewing would subsequently bond out to $595 bail just under 2 hours later. Online court records don’t yet indicate when he’s due before a judge.
