Enfield Road Commissioner Joe Allen says you’ll need to find another route if you’re planning on driving anything over 5 tons on township roads there. Due to the harsh and extreme weather conditions, Allen says all Enfield Township roads will be closed to vehicular traffic over 5 tons until April 15th. And to those who attempt to get away with it, Allen says anyone caught driving on those roads in overweight vehicles will face prosecution and heavy fines.
