Enfield Man Arrested for Battery to Senior Citizen

An Enfield man is behind bars after his arrest Saturday night. The White County Sheriff’s Department was called out to a residence in Enfield after a call from an 80-year-old woman stated she was locked out of her house and in need of an inhaler.

Responding officers and EMS arrived to assess the caller, Mabel Todd. Mabel discussed with officers what had happened, stating that her son Donald Todd Jr. had became agitated after a phone call with his sister and grabbed her left leg and twisted it causing pain to her leg and knee. Donald had fled the scene after the altercation.

Officers left the residence in search of Donald and found him walking along the road and advised him that he was under arrest for Aggravated Battery to a Senior Citizen and Intimidation.
