The Egyptian Health Department was notified Thursday of 9 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (7)
- 1 female under the age of 10
- 1 female in her 30’s
- 1 female in her 40’s
- 2 males in their 40’s
- 1 male in his 50’s
- 1 female in her 80’s
- Gallatin County (1)
- 1 female in her 20’s
- White County (1)
- 1 female in her 40’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,481 lab confirmed positives, including 48 deaths, 2,287 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,706 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,583 have recovered and Gallatin County has a total of 479 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 454 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,740 new confirmed cases and 42 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,193,260 confirmed cases and 20,668 deaths in Illinois.
