Egyptian Health Department Reports 7 New COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

Egyptian Health Department was notified on Tuesday, of 7 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (5)
    • 2 females in their 30’s
    • 1 female in her 40’s
    • 2 females in their 60’s

 

  • Gallatin County (1)
    • 1 male in his 20’s

 

  • White County (1)
    • 1 female in her 70’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,501 lab confirmed positives, including 48 deaths, 2299 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,713 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1589 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 482 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 455 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

 

 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.
If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. Yesterday, IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,510 new confirmed cases and 16 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,120,026 confirmed cases and 20,781 deaths in Illinois.
