Egyptian Health Department Reports 7 New COVID-19 Cases Thursday

Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Thursday, of 7 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (4)
    • 2 males in their
    • 1 female in her 20’s
    • 1 female in her 70’s

 

  • Gallatin County (2)
    • 1 male in his 20’s
    • 1 male in his 70’s

 

  • White County (1)
    • 1 female in her 80’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,393 lab confirmed positives, including 43 deaths, 1,271 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,663 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths, 757 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 465 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 263 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 2,838 new confirmed cases and 102 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,155,833 confirmed cases and 19,841 deaths in Illinois.
