Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Thursday, of 5 Saline County residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (5)
- 1 male in his 30’s
- 1 female in her 40’s
- 1 female in her 50’s
- 1 male in his 60’s
- 1 male in his 80’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,416 lab confirmed positives, including 44 deaths, 1,380 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,673 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths, 863 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 473 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 4 deaths, 276 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,966 new confirmed cases and 72 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,168,683 confirmed cases and 20,129 deaths in Illinois.
