Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Wednesday, of 45 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (19)
- 1 female under the age of ten
- 3 females in their teens
- 3 males in their teens
- 1 female in her 20’s
- 2 males in their 20’s
- 1 female in her 30’s
- 4 females in their 50’s
- 2 females in their 60’s
- 1 male in his 60’s
- 1 male in his 80’s
- Gallatin County (8)
- 1 female in her teens
- 2 females in their 20’s
- 1 male in his 20’s
- 1 male in his 30’s
- 1 female in her 50’s
- 1 male in his 50’s
- 1 female in her 80’s
- White County (18)
- 1 female in her teens
- 1 male in his teens
- 3 females in their 20’s
- 1 male in his 20’s
- 1 female in her 40’s
- 3 males in their 40’s
- 2 males in their 50’s
- 2 females in their 60’s
- 1 male in his 60’s
- 1 female in their 70’s
- 1 male in his 70’s
- 1 male in his 80’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 1,267 lab confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 530 have recovered, White County has had a total of 716 lab-confirmed positives, including 9 deaths, 281 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 231 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 2 deaths, 127 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.
As cases increase, the number of close contacts increases for individuals who need to be quarantined for a minimum of 14 days.
