Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Tuesday, of 36 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (25)
- 2 males in their teens
- 2 females in their 20’s
- 2 males in their 20’s
- a female in her 30’s
- 6 females in their 40’s
- 2 males in their 40’s
- 2 females in their 50’s
- 2 males in their 50’s
- a female in her 60’s
- 2 males in their 60’s
- a female in her 70’s
- a female in her 90’s
- a male in his 90’s
- Gallatin County (4)
- a male in his 20’s
- a female in her 30’s
- a female in her 40’s
- a male in his 70’s
- White County (7)
- a female in her 20’s
- a female in her 40’s
- a male in his 40’s
- 2 females in their 50’s
- 2 males in their 60’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 752 lab confirmed positives, including 13 deaths, 379 have recovered, White County has had a total of 336 lab-confirmed positives, including 6 deaths, 202 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 145 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 2 deaths, 90 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.
As cases increase, the number of close contacts increases for individuals who need to be quarantined for a minimum of 14 days.
