Egyptian Health Department Reports 34 New COVID-19 Cases Wednesday

Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Wednesday, of 34 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19).  They include…

 

  • Saline County (23)
    • 1 female under the age of 10
    • 1 male in his teens
    • 2 females in their 20’s
    • 1 female in her 30’s
    • 2 females in their 40’s
    • 1 female in her 50’s
    • 1 male in his 50’s
    • 2 females in their 60’s
    • 4 females in their 70’s
    • 1 male in his 70’s
    • 4 females in their 80’s
    • 3 males in their 90’s

 

  • Gallatin County (1)
  • 1 female in her 70’s

 

  • White County (10)
    • 1 male under the age of 10
    • 1 male in his teens
    • 1 female in her 20’s
    • 2 males in their 30’s
    • 1 female in her 50’s
    • 1 male in his 50’s
    • 1 female in her 60’s
    • 1 female in her 70’s
    • 1 female in her 80’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,302 lab confirmed positives, including 43 deaths, 1,225 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,612 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths, 715 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 453 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 256 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

 

 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.

If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 3,314 new confirmed cases and 69 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,134,231 confirmed cases and 19,375 deaths in Illinois.
