Egyptian Health Department Reports 3 New COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

Egyptian Health Department was notified Tuesday of 3 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (3)
    • 1 female in her 40’s
    • 1 male in his 50’s
    • 1 female in her 80’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,528 lab confirmed positives, including 49 deaths, 2,302 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,728 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,591 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 486 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 455 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

 

 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.
If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,997 new confirmed cases and 19 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,212,110 confirmed cases and 20,973 deaths in Illinois.
