Egyptian Health Department Reports 3 New COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

Egyptian Health Department was notified Tuesday of 3 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (1)
    • 1 female in her 60’s

 

  • Gallatin County (2)
    • 1 male in his 60’s
    • 1 male in his 70’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,403 lab confirmed positives, including 44 deaths, 1,362 have recovered,  White County has had a total of 1,672 lab-confirmed positives, including 24 deaths, 854 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 473 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 4 deaths, 275 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

 

 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.
If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,348 new confirmed cases and 32 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,164,922 confirmed cases and 20,034 deaths in Illinois.
