Egyptian Health Department was notified on Friday of 3 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County
- 1 female in her 30’s
- Gallatin County
- 1 female in her 30’s
- White County
- 1 female in her 40’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,606 lab confirmed positives, including 53 deaths, 2,501 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,755 lab-confirmed positives, including 27 deaths, 1,698 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 497 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 487 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 4,004 new confirmed cases and 21 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,273,200 confirmed cases and 21,476 deaths in Illinois.
