Egyptian Health Department Reports 20 New COVID-19 Cases in Saline County Wednesday

The Egyptian Health Department was notified Wednesday of 20 Saline County residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County
    • 1 female under the age of 10
    • 3 males under the age of 10
    • 1 female in her teens
    • 3 males in their teens
    • 2 females in their 20’s
    • 1 female in her 30’s
    • 1 male in his 30’s
    • 1 female in her 40’s
    • 1 male in his 40’s
    • 2 females in their 50’s
    • 1 male in his 60’s
    • 1 female in her 70’s
    • 2 females in their 80’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,633 lab confirmed positives, including 53 deaths, 2,530 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,761 lab-confirmed positives, including 27 deaths, 1,706 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 497 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 491 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

 

 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.
If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 3,536 new confirmed cases and 31 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,288,934 confirmed cases and 21,570 deaths in Illinois.
