Egyptian Health Department was notified on Thursday of 27 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (15) (11.8% positivity rate)
- a male under the age of 5
- a female under the age of 10
- a female in her 20’s
- 2 males in their 20’s
- a female in her 30’s
- 2 males in their 30’s
- a male in his 40’s
- a female in her 50’s
- 2 females in their 60’s
- a male in his 60’s
- 2 females in their 70’s
- Gallatin County (4) (1% positivity rate)
- a female in her 20’s
- a female in her 50’s
- a male in his 50’s
- a male in his 60’s
- White County (8) (4.6% positivity rate)
- a female in her 30’s
- a male in his 30’s
- 2 females in their 50’s
- a female in her 60’s
- a male in his 60’s
- a female in her 70’s
- a male in his 70’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 782 lab confirmed positives, including 14 deaths, 379 have recovered, White County has had a total of 350 lab-confirmed positives, including 6 deaths, 202 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 151 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 2 deaths, 90 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.
