Egyptian Health Department was notified Monday of 2 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (1)
- 1 male in his 40’s
- Gallatin County (1)
- 1 male in his 60’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,525 lab confirmed positives, including 49 deaths, 2,302 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,727 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,591 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 487 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 455 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 782 new confirmed cases and 12 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,210,113 confirmed cases and 20,955 deaths in Illinois.
