Egyptian Health Department Reports 2 New COVID-19 Cases in White County Monday

Egyptian Health Department was notified Monday of 2 White County residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • White County
    • 1 female in her teens
    • 1 female in her 50’s

 

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,611 lab confirmed positives, including 53 deaths, 2,525 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,760 lab-confirmed positives, including 27 deaths, 1,704 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 497 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 491 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

 

 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.
If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. Yesterday, IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 3,630 new confirmed cases and 13 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,276,830 confirmed cases and 21,489 deaths in Illinois.
