Egyptian Health Department was notified on Tuesday, of 17 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (10)
- 1 male in his teens
- 1 male in his 20’s
- 2 females in their 40’s
- 1 male in his 40’s
- 1 female in her 50’s
- 2 females in their 60’s
- 1 male in his 60’s
- 1 male in his 70’s
- Gallatin County (2)
- 1 female in her 60’s
- 1 male in his 60’s
- White County (5)
- 1 female in her teens
- 1 male in his teens
- 1 male in his 30’s
- 1 female in her 60’s
- 1 male; age demographics unknown-case status in progress
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,180 lab confirmed positives, including 38 deaths, 1063 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,436 lab-confirmed positives, including 23 deaths, 629 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 430 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 237 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.
