Egyptian Health Department was notified, Monday, of 11 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:
- Saline County (7)
- 1 female in her 30’s
- 1 male in his 30’s
- 1 female in her 40’s
- 1 male in his 40’s
- 1 female in her 50’s
- 2 males in their 50’s
- White County (4)
- 1 male in his teens
- 1 male in his 20’s
- 1 male in his 30’s
- 1 female in her 50’s
To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,461 lab confirmed positives, including 47 deaths, 2,284 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,703 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,577 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 478 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 453 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,143 new confirmed cases and 20 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,187,839 confirmed cases and 20,536 deaths in Illinois.
