Egyptian Health Department Reports 11 New COVID-19 Cases Monday

Egyptian Health Department was notified, Monday, of 11 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (7)
    • 1 female in her 30’s
    • 1 male in his 30’s
    • 1 female in her 40’s
    • 1 male in his 40’s
    • 1 female in her 50’s
    • 2 males in their 50’s

 

  • White County (4)
    • 1 male in his teens
    • 1 male in his 20’s
    • 1 male in his 30’s
    • 1 female in her 50’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,461 lab confirmed positives, including 47 deaths, 2,284 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,703 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,577 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 478 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 453 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,143 new confirmed cases and 20 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,187,839 confirmed cases and 20,536 deaths in Illinois.
