Egyptian Health Department Reports 10 New COVID-19 Cases Tuesday

The Egyptian Health Department was notified, on Tuesday, of 10 Southeastern Illinois residents who have tested positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19). The individuals include:

 

  • Saline County (6)
    • 1 female in her 20’s
    • 2 males in their 40’s
    • 1 female in her 50’s
    • 2 males in their 50’s

 

  • Gallatin County (1)
    • 1 male in his 90’s

 

  • White County (3)
    • 2 females in their 40’s
    • 1 male in his 50’s

 

To date, Saline County has had a total of 2,435 lab confirmed positives, including 46 deaths, 2,282 have recovered, White County has had a total of 1,685 lab-confirmed positives, including 26 deaths, 1,574 have recovered, and Gallatin County has a total of 476 lab-confirmed positives of COVID-19, including 3 deaths, 452 have recovered. The Illinois Department of Public Health, their healthcare provider, and the individuals have all been notified and are monitoring the situation.

 

 

To help slow the spread of COVID-19 in our communities, please answer your phone. Contact Tracers may be calling you to let you know that you have been exposed to a confirmed COVID-19 positive. Remember to maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more at all times.
If you have been tested for COVID-19, please remember that you have to isolate at home until you have received your test results. Please note: If you have received results for a COVID-19 Rapid Test– ???????????????????????????????? or ????????????????????????????????– you should still ???????????????????????????? until you receive your lab-confirmed results. IDPH announced that Illinois had a total of 1,665 new confirmed cases and 27 additional deaths. Bringing the total of 1,177,320 confirmed cases and 20,330 deaths in Illinois.
