Carmi-White County standout, Mitchel Edwards, had a fantastic sophomore season in 2022-2023. Edwards helped guide the Bulldogs to their first conference championship since 2016 and was named to numerous All-Tournament teams as well as the BDC All-Conference team.
Even though the season came to an end in late February, Edwards doesn’t plan on putting a basketball down anytime soon.
Edwards has spent this spring playing for Indiana Ambition AAU out of Indianapolis. While pitching for the CWC Baseball team during the week, Edwards spends his weekends playing against some of the best high school players in the midwest.
Not only is Edwards having the chance to play at the AAU level, but he’s putting up impressive numbers in the process. This past weekend, Edwards had 20 and 27 point outings to help lead his team to a pair of victories and being recognized as a top performer.
