39-year-old William Henderson of McKenzie, Tennessee, pled guilty back in December 2023 for a charge of Theft, but then another charge was added after he failed to show up to his sentencing hearing in Edwards County, bringing a charge of Escape to his record.
On September 10th, Henderson was sentenced to five years and six months for Theft and two years and six months for Escape at the Illinois Department of Corrections.
The Escape sentence was ordered to run consecutively to the Theft sentence.
West Salem native Brianna Eckelberry was sentenced to one year in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty to attempting to Defraud a Drug Screen Test, which violated her probation.
Lastly, Tristan Keortge will be spending time at the IDOC for two charges to which he pled guilty. Three years for Possession of Methamphetamine and two years, respectively, for Aggravated Fleeing Police.
Attorney Eric St Ledger prosecuted all cases, with attorney Brian Shinkle representing all defendants.
