The Grayville City Council met for what was a fairly light agenda Monday night, covering matters in a short meeting.
Along with approval of the routine matters, which included reports from the treasurer, engineer, police chief, utility manager, city attorney, the commissioners and the mayor, old and new business was covered.
A revolving loan agreement for Bernie’s, located inside the former Windsor Oaks Motel was approved. The city commissioners agreed to release an easement at the Interstate 64 Plaza as part of old business.
New business was light as council approved an open bid from Kim McGarvey for cleaning services and a resolution covering the Grayville Christmas Parade was approved. The parade will be held on November 25 this year.
The Grayville Council normally meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month. The next meeting is set for Monday, October 23rd.
