Duvall Sentenced in White County Court

A year and a half after the incident, a Crossville man has been sentenced.  Edwards County States Attorney Eric St. Ledger says 64-year-old Alfred E. Duvall has been sentenced to 4 years in prison followed by 6 months of Mandatory Supervised Release.  The sentence was handed down Friday in Edwards County court on a conviction for failing to register as a Sex Offender.

It was on Friday, September 30th of 2022 when officer Jonathan Lucas went to Duvall’s Crossville residence to serve the Edwards County warrant.  Read more on that arrest here. Following his arrest, Duvall bonded out to the tune of $3,000 on the warrant as well as $100 cash on a charge of Resisting a Police Officer.  Between that arrest and his sentencing on Friday while he’s been free, Duvall has been arrested and found guilty on a Delivery of Meth charge in White County.  He was also arrested in February of this year on Possession of Meth, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis by a Driver charges.  Those charges, also in White County, were dismissed as per online court records.  Also dropped, charges on March 5th of this year for a Felon Failing to Return from Furlough.
