A 46 year old Carmi man remained in custody Friday morning following his arrest Thursday morning on a several charges relating to a domestic incident.
According to the Carmi Police Department report, William G. Browning of 200 Commerce Street, Apt. 14, was arrested after a report of his trespassing at the Renshaw Apartments. Browning was allegedly armed with a baseball bat at the time of his arrest.
Browning was charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, criminal trespass to real property and domestic battery according to the police report.
Browning remained in custody Friday morning.
