Ditney Ridge Baptist Church of Norris City’s Pastor Chris Marsh was the guest of 116th district State Representative Dave Severin (R-Benton) on Tuesday, May 14, at the State Capitol. Severin invited Pastor Marsh to offer the opening invocation prayer prior to the start of House Session.
“I want to thank Pastor Marsh for coming to Springfield to offer the invocation prior to legislative Session. Pastor Marsh gave a beautiful opening prayer and I couldn’t be more proud to have him as my guest. Ditney Ridge Baptist Church was well represented in the Illinois House this week,” Severin said. “Our state needs prayer, and Pastor Marsh’s blessing over the House proceedings was heartfelt, moving, and meaningful.”
